Archival Producer and Researcher

About

Jennifer Troyer is an archival producer and researcher based in New York City. Working in documentary film since 2013, she also has experience in field and post production.

As an archival producer she has worked on projects for networks including HBO, Netflix, PBS and A&E, and films that have been shown at festivals such as South By Southwest and Telluride Film Festival.

Jennifer has extensive experience researching a broad range of topics, in contemporary and historical subject matter. Much of her work has involved archiving personal material from the film’s subjects – notably, she has worked with the family estates of both Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash to uncover never-before-seen photos and footage of two of the 20th century’s most popular music artists.

She also has experience with rights and clearances for different distribution models, as well as technical knowledge of archiving techniques and database management systems.
